Hard drive speeds of 7200rpm allow for it to read/write/copy data faster, but this doesn't necessarily mean it will open programs faster. If you want to run programs faster, upgrade your computer's RAM (random access memory or usually just called memory).
From what I know, hard drives are faster.
hard drives
No, overall, hard drives just give you more storage space. Newer hard drives tend to be faster than older ones, but that only affects disk-intensive activity, not processor or RAM-intensive things. If you want your computer to go faster, your better off buying a better processor. More and/or faster RAM can help too.
All computers use a hard drive to store programs and files.
Yes. Flash drives work just as well in reading memory as a CD or your hard drive. Plus, flash drives have a tendency to read faster than hard drives, so it may load faster.
secondary memories are the memories by which CPU proccesses his programs and application.
By formatting the hard drives. Just do C at the end.

You can't because programs do not run on external hard disk drives.
The RPM of your hard drive. A 7000RPM drive is faster than a 5000RPM drive, and an SSD is faster than all Platter hard drives.
External hard drives for Macintoshes vary in price based on size and kind of hard drive. Solid State Drives (SSD) are more expensive than traditional hard drives but are much faster. Prices range from around $50 to hundreds of dollars.
External serial ATA (eSATA) hard drives is up to six times faster than USB or FireWire.
