It is debatable.
There are cases where huge colonies of male mice are kept together, but it takes careful planning & constant attention. There is a crucial point in their developement, which is between 5 & 7 weeks of age, where young male mice may be moved into the living quarters of adult males, & are accepted, as they are not threats & will learn their places, & fighting it seldom a problem.
With brothers, it's much the same. If you have a full litter, only take out the aggressive ones, or separate them all into duos &/or trios (twos & threes), but if none are aggressive, you may leave them all together. Do not separate them for any length of time, & handle them in pairs, or all together.
But, then there are cases where some male mice simply don't want to share, & never will, & you just have to leave them be.
The Male fight more.
Male mouse is more aggressive and always press for mating. This makes female mouse offensive towards male.

They should live 2 or more. But male mice can't live together always. If you see your male mice fight or beep you should split them. Also i don't recommend to have more then 10 females together.

Additionally, male mice may have a more prominent scent gland on their bellies. So, if you're trying to figure out who's who in the mouse house, just look for those telltale signs.
Unlike the hamster, female mice are nicer if you want to get more than one. Male mice can get into fights causing death. females can get feisty when they are defending their young but the male can be feisty to prove himself to a mate or something
Male wombats are more likely to fight over territory than over a single female, but it could happen.
No, female tigers do nor attack male tigers after mating. But, they escape from the male tigers and flee to far away lands where it gives birth to it's cubs. They do this because, they fear that the male tigers might hurt it's cubs.
A mouse can be either male or female.Fun Fact: In one month a female mouse can breed and the baby mice will breed and produces at least 100 mice a month. Next month will be 200 then 400 the 800 etc!
