You need will first need to extract all the contents of the windows 7 iso file onto a completely blank memory stick or disk (not an external hard drive) using a program called '7-zip' install it and open the iso in it, then drag and drop them to the memory stick or disk. Then go to system preferences and change the startup disk to your memory stick or disk.
Then reboot your computer with the memory stick or disk in. You should see a blue screen and after a few seconds a window should pop up bringing you through the setup of windows 7. Make sure you have another partition on your hard drive to install the operating system on, otherwise you will lose your mac os, then go through the steps to format the partition you select (needs to be around 20GB) and then let it take its time to install windows to it. After that it will restart, hopefully with Windows 7
