Photoshop allows you to render a 3D animation as a QuickTime movie?
It is process to apply to the file what you have done inside Photoshop. Photoshop applies changes to the file and output or shows final product.
if the render is in process just hit the esc key and the rendering will stop. whatever has been rendered wether it is still frame or animation render it wil end the render but keep the window open and the file still in blender.
You cannot directly. You have to open it in 3D Studio Max, then save it to a format that is supported by Photoshop (typically you will render it to a jpeg for example), then you can open it with photoshop or ther image editing software.
In the area (Default right hand side) of the screen with the small square buttons such as "Render" (looks like a camera), "Scene", "World", "Materials", "Textures", etc. You click "Render", scroll down to "Output", and adjust your settings there. THEN, at the top of the screen near "File", "Add", "Render", and "Help", you click "Render", then click "Render Animation". However Blender takes a long to time render video files, and you might have better luck changing your output settings to JPEG and render each frame as a JPEG image by clicking the same "Render Animation" button.
It renders out an animation images frame by frame in a specific format that is needed to stream the animation. Less complicated and realistic renderers can render out simple avi files while more complex renderers can make more detailed and realistic images in an image sequence. In other words it builds the final look to your animation.

To do this, go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers to import the images, then go to File > Export > Render Video to save the video file. Keep in mind, Photoshop CS2 is an older version, and newer versions may have more advanced video editing features.
