Gaming is like a a very low scaled drug. People lives do start to get dependent on it and it shows all the same sings as normal drugs. Like unsocial skills/withdrawal/dependency/etc. Its rare to pick up something this severe but it has happened. I saw in an article that a Korean couple once played 16 hours straight in a cyber cafe of World of Warcraft and when they got home their 2 year old baby had starved to death.
