General guidlines show that if you are drinking water to help with weight loss, you should take your weight and divide by half, so a 200 pound person should drink 100 ounces to help with their weight loss, etc.

Not really. Warm water goes through your body faster than cold water because it hydrates you faster because your body doesnt need to take the time to warm it up.
