none of the grand Cherokees feature a roll down window. most grand Cherokees will have a flipping glass lid or a fixed window. the flipper glass will not fit in the fixed window grands. im sure it could be done but you would have to deal with latches, interior paneling and mouldings. it would be alot of work and quite a mess.
you probably need a new switch
each window has it's own window regulator and window motor. so if one is working and one is not, you would have to take the door panel off and see if one or the other is working, or the window may just be off the window track
