Being a dr. that i am and doing all the tests and researches it has occured to me that with school work in large amounts actually leads to what i lke to call the dur da dur syndrome. Bottom line it should be less not more.
what the brain tells you is how to control your functions in your body, how to do school work, how to play, etc.
Because malnutrition affects the brain, and the strength in your body. So if you are malnutrated, then your brain will work slower, and you will feel quite tired, so you will not be able to work properly.
Video games increase your hand eye coordination. So I guess you could say that it helps the brain work.

Good nutrients alone won't help you understand, but good nutrients make your brain and body healthier, and a healthy brain will be able to work harder to help you understand!
On a direct level, neurosurgery and neuroscience work with the brain. On a more indirect level, psychologists, family councilors, and teachers work with people's brains in that they need to know how to help people think and reason.
You need to take lots of stuff to school because the teachers there sometimes work you so hard that your brain is about to bust open. That is my answer.
