The dis advantage is that you will break down the original database into many smaller data bases just to protect some of the data that no one other than those who are concerned are allowed to viewl.
The problem with this is that the original benefits that come to our mind whenever we think of Data Base Management Systems like e.g. central control of data, elemination of redundancy to improve accuracy also it does not address the problem of a high level user who needs access to some low level data combined with high level data.
So the better approach is to use integrity lock and sensitivity lock together this way you will get multilevel security in your data bases.

Chapter#6 PROPOSALS FOR MULTILEVEL SECURITY
Disadvantages of databases are: * They are overcomplicated for storage of simple and/or small data. * They are more complex * They are more difficult to set up initially * Crash without saving
advantages of object oriented data base
Some disadvantages of parallel databases include increased complexity in design and maintenance, higher implementation costs due to specialized hardware and software requirements, and potential issues with data consistency and synchronization across multiple nodes. Additionally, parallel databases may require specialized skills to optimize performance effectively.
hierarchical databases are fast and conceptually simple however do not support many-to-many relationships and have a lack of referential integrity. dan woodfield was a creater of Hierarchical Databases
Efficient databases make storing and retrieving of data fast and easy. The characteristics of such databases are, having input constraints, implementing use of unique keys for fields, avoiding data redundancy and maintaining data integrity.
Disadvantages of database:1.Number of problems are associating with centralized data.2.cost of hardware and software.3.complexity of backup and recovery machanism.byAnkit KumarRM1001B36
Some disadvantages of a paper-based database include limited storage capacity, difficulty in organizing and searching for information, and vulnerability to physical damage or loss. Additionally, paper-based databases are less efficient in terms of retrieval and sharing of data compared to digital databases.
Paper-based database is a collection of data on paper. There are many disadvantages when using paper-based database, some of the disadvantages are: Difficulty in sorting data, changes are done manually, no security, difficulties in sorting data.
There are too many (hundreds) functions for there to be an answer to this. Advantages are that they can be used server side to print output that can be translated from databases etc. Disadvantages it that it can delay the loading time of all you pages.
Lack of scalability: Relational databases can struggle with scalability as the data grows in size and complexity. Performance issues: Join operations and complex queries can lead to slower performance in relational databases. Data redundancy: Normalization in relational databases can result in storing data in multiple tables, leading to redundancy and inefficiency.
File system data management (or flat-file databases) served as the only method of file storage and retrieval before the advent of database management systems (such as relational databases). While retaining some use, flat-file databases suffer from poor accessibility, data redundancy, lack of standard file access and the inability to organize data.
