Home Network Security Simplified is a book about home network security that is easy to understand. It can be purchased online and comes in paperback form.
Not if it is a good book; that should be a covered topic in any discussion of security.
I humbly suggest my own book, Cryptography and Network Security (Pearson, 2014), which gives a broad and thorough coverage. Another very worthwhile book is Security Engineering, by Ross Anderson (Wiley 2008).

There are many wireless surveillance systems for businesses available. You will want to research the different brands by visiting with other business owners and popular security companies. You can obtain information in your local phone book as well.
I'm not sure if there is an actual wireless phone book. It would be a directory of wireless phone numbers, but seeing as how often these numbers change, I don't think there really is a reliable source of a wireless phone directory.
When I was looking into wireless systems for my place, I found that most of the good info came from a mix of online research and local providers. Honestly, it can get overwhelming at first, but once I started narrowing it down, it became much easier. I checked out a few blogs and YouTube reviews to understand how these systems actually work—things like motion sensors, cameras, and mobile app controls. But what helped the most was talking to a couple of local installers. Since I’m based in Sydney, I looked up home security Sydney services, and they gave me clear advice on which systems work best for apartments versus houses. A lot of companies also offer free consultations where they explain the features, costs, and even do a quick property check. That’s where I got the most practical info because it was tailored to my home rather than just general specs online.

Some of the free home security systems use wireless technology like simplisafe and use a wireless monitor. It may not be a permanent solution and is not as well trusted as a normal home security system.
