To replace the hard disk in a Toshiba All-in-One Desktop LX830 with a solid-state drive (SSD), first, ensure the device is powered off and unplugged. Remove the back panel by unscrewing any screws and gently prying it off. Locate the hard drive, disconnect it from the SATA connector, and unscrew it from its mounting bracket. Replace it with the SSD, secure it in place, and reconnect the SATA cable before reassembling the back panel. Finally, power on the device and install your operating system on the new SSD.
The Toshiba Pocket uses the Windows Mobile 6 OS, which is a solid operating system, with a few quirks.
Solid State Drives are currently replacing hard drives in most desktop and laptop computers, and have already replaced them completely in tablets, smartphones, and portable media players. Solid state drives use much of the same technology found in USB flash drives and SD cards.
For working with electronics, the best desktop will be one made of non-conducting material. My personal preference is a solid, large, hardwood bench. I prefer beech, but this is a matter of personal preference.
The easiest method is to use a solid drive inside an external enclosure, and plug into the desktop using a USB cable. This means the original internal hard drive is not affected and can still be used. If the solid drive is to replace the internal hard drive, then the main points are: ensure the power and data plugs pulled off the hard drive will fit the sold drive - probably sata type. Also, the smaller size (2.5) doesn't matter as it can be held in the rack by various means, a special fitting, or simply laid in the rack without fasteners (a desktop is not usually moved as a laptop would be).
Looks like they JUST started recently so it's a solid bet but there's no strong history so they might not do it again
Weaning
Laptop computers can't really substitute for desktop computers, but a good laptop can be a solid and convenient supplement to a desktop model. You will want to know what brand you like.

Apple uses SSDs from a variety of manufacturers (such as Hitachi, Samsung, and Toshiba) depending on the best prices they can get to meet their specifications.
