The number "1080" represents 1,080 lines of vertical resolution
Assuming a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, this means a horizontal resolution of 1920 pixels
1080 x 1920 = 2073600 pixels of data.
DVD format = 720 x 480 = 345600 pixels, usually fitted in a 700 mb .avi file for a 90 minute
movie in stereo at 112 kbps.
To retain HD equivalent quality = 2073600/345600 x 700Mmb = 4.2Gb
Add about 400 Mb for surrround sound.

That is itunes fault they think that you are breaking copyrights. The only ways i can think to avoid this is to go into your itunes account and search for the history and it should let you redownload it but if u can not find it. You can try to sync the movie to an ipod or something that is apple and it may remove the permisions. then can be resynced to the computer. If all else fails call i tunes. Also make sure the Itunes account that you downloaded it in is the same one and signed in to your new computer.
Actually, TV shows on iTunes come in either standard or HD version. Sometimes, you need to look around to find more options.
