If you want your Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation to always show the slideshow whenever opened what you should do is create a Powerpoint Slide Show.

  1. Save your Powerpoint Presentation you will want to keep your filename.ppt file in case you need to make any adjustments or edits to the slideshow at a later date. A Slide Show (.pps) file cannot be edited directly.
  2. Save your Powerpoint as a Slide Show go to File > Save As > PowerPoint Show (If you use Office 2007 you will need to click the Windows Icon at the top if you do not show the menu options by default). Choose a file name for your PowerPoint show. It will be a separate file from your .ppt but contain the exact same information.
  3. Open your Powerpoint Show and enjoy! Mail out your filename.pps to everyone and they'll automatically see your slideshow presentation the way you wanted it to be seen!
