First, believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. Confess that you are a sinner and need salvation through Jesus. Jesus will immediately save you. Next, the Holy Spirit will immediately come into your heart to sanctify you and purify you each day so that you can submit to the authority of God and not continue to rebel against Him. The Holy Spirit will continually guide you into all truth which will allow you to recognize that God is sovereign and you are not. The Holy Spirit will guide you in prayer and Bible study, as well as direct you to a church that teaches God's Word. This is the only way anyone can overcome self-centerdness as a lifelong heart-changing attitude.

I am dealing with a narcissist at Church who thinks he is just SO SO much better than everyone else AND he became VERY angry at me one time when we were all out to dinner and I asked the question....'when did you accept the Lord'. I suppose it was the Holy Spirit convicting him because he became quite irritated with me over that one and assumed that I was saying that he was 'unsure' of whether or not he was going to heaven.
