If you want to put a signature after your text messages using the LG Ally, simply go to the home screen of the messaging feature (press the icon that says "Messaging" or press the "Back" button (the curved arrow at the bottom of the touch screen) if you're in the middle of a text message conversation), then press the "Menu" button (the four lines at the bottom of the phone), press "Settings," then check the box next to "Signature" (check then uncheck it if it's already checked or if you want to change your signature), then type in whatever you want.

Go to your messages press your the 1st button on the left, you should see compose, multiselect, search, and settings. Press settings and you sholud get various options but just check mark signature and then input your signature =) all done

You can't. I have an LG Quantum too and I have searched and searched to set up a signature and there is no possible way to put a signature on the phone. This is one of the many things Windows has to fix on these phones.
