How do i unlock my keyboard and mouse?

This generally occurs due to a variety of odd reasons - all easily fixed. Open Accessibility Settings (if using XP) or Ease of Access (if using Vista or higher) in Control Panel. Open Keyboard Settings, and uncheck "Turn on Sticky Keys", "Turn on Toggle Keys", and "Turn on Filter Keys". Apply the settings. If settings are not the issue, you need to update your Keyboard drivers. You can do this by either downloading the correct drivers from the manufacturers website, or by opening Device Manager, selecting the Keyboard, right-click and enter properties and update drivers from there.
