The less than symbol is < the greater than symbol is > and you can add the symbol in the input line when typing a formula.
We use symbols in excel when we need to add a symbol of copyright, trademark symbols, and Unicode symbols etc.
If you mean Excel, you can add numbers one at a time with the "+" symbol. To add a larger range of cells, you need to use the sum() function. Don't forget that Excel formulae start with the "=" symbol. Example: = sum(a1:b10) As a convenient shortcut, once you type "sum(", you can select the range with the mouse.
The symbol for autosum in Excel is a Greek letter sigma (∑) located in the toolbar or ribbon at the top of the application. It is used to quickly add up a range of selected cells in a spreadsheet.
In the same way that a diagonal line through the equals symbol changes equals (=) to does not equal (≠), a near-vertical line through the greater than symbol (>), changes it to not greater than. Unfortunately I cannot find it in my symbols set. One alternative, of course, is to change the equation around: x not greater than y is the same as x less than or equal to (≤) y. When inverting the equation in this fashion, you do need to remember to add = if it was not there and remove it if it was. ie not (greater than) is the same as less than or equal to not (greater than or equal to) is the same as less than not (less than) is the same as greater than or equal to not (less than or equal to) is the same as greater than

Numerators
There are two (2) ways to add up automatically in MS Excel. You can either use the syntax, =sum(number1, number2, number3,...numberX), or select the cells (containing set of numbers) and click the summation symbol.
Multiply by 0.01.
To get the 5th root of a number you use the ^(1/5) method. So if your value was in B2, then the formula would be: =B2^(1/5) To add several values, you use the + symbol as normal.
Text annotations are labels that you can add to further describe the data in your chart for excel.
