The very first ipod came out before the 3rd generation because the first one would be 1st generation ipod so that makes a little bit of time to improve upon their earliest designs and add all the neew stuff they have come out with and they obviously still are doing that because they made the ipod touch 4th generation and an iphone 4s generation.
if you have a Macintosh: use the name of your old ipod on your new ipod.
You must have itunes installed on your computer to add music to your iPod Touch.
Yes, you can. If Jailbroken: Download an app from Cydia called MewSeek. It's free, but a pro version is available. You can add the song that you downloaded straight to your Music app with no computer. It's that easy. If Not Jailbroken: Download songs on your computer from Limewire or something then add them to your iPod.
i tunes file add folder to library then sync or drag them to your ipod
you first download it off the computer then add it to you ipod
They tell you about your ipod like if something go wrong and like how to add music and such.
No
First off, any music you want on your ipod, add it into your itunes. [ie the hard copy of music you have?] Then either manually re-add the stuff on or sync the itunes library [or your selected music] with your ipod. Hope that helps!
I'm almost positive you can only put songs onto the iPod from your library. There is software to "rip" the music from your iPod to a computer. It costs $ but works, you have a backup now of the music on the iPod.
it depends on what generation you have. If you have a 2g or 3g, idk.. sorry but if you have a 4g or NEWEST generation i'm pretty sure you can add one easily.
Set your iPod to manual mode.
