How do you adjust the mic volume on iPad 2?

The rocker switch on the top right increases the volume. If the volume bar on the screen is at the top, that's as loud as it's going to get. Note that YouTube videos recorded or edited with a really low volume may not be able to be clearly heard. This is not the fault of the iPad.

Press the rocker switch on the right side. If the volume graph is already at full, that's as loud as its going to get. Note that content like YouTube videos may play very softly if the video was uploaded with a low audio volume.

In the top right hand corner, there is a button that says applications. Click on that. Then click on settings. It will say volume. click on that and adjust to your liking.

There is no hardware or system sensitivity adjustment for the built-in mic. The recording app may have a mic gain adjustment.

The volume rocker is on the top right hand side. Don't cover up the speaker port on the bottom left.
