You don't usually use your keyboard to do this.
Bold face, and other formatting, is usually done from a menu.
You might - in certain applications - be able to select the text and press the key combination command B.
You can use Ctrl - B. There is also another way it can be done, which people may not be aware of, which is the press Ctrl - 2.
The shortcut key for bold/strong emphasis on most word processors is Ctrl + B, corresponding to Cmd + B on a Mac.
English language appliction and Keyboard: Ctrl + b = boldCtrl + i = italicCtrl + u = underlineOther language packs and keyboards will be different, for example my Swedish language Word has Ctrl + f for bold (Swedish fet). Ctrl + k for italic (Swedish kursiv)
First, type Ctrl+U and then type whatever sentence you need which needs to be underlined. After you're done, press Ctrl+U again and then type the next sentence which doesn't need to be underlined.
In Microsoft Word, the shortcut for bolding text is Ctrl + B on Windows and Command + B on Mac. You can use this shortcut by selecting the text you want to embolden and then pressing the keys simultaneously. This will apply or remove the bold formatting from the selected text.
To stop using bold print, simply select the text you want to modify and toggle off the bold formatting option. In most text editors, this can be done by clicking the bold icon (often represented by a "B") in the toolbar or using the keyboard shortcut (typically Ctrl + B on Windows or Command + B on Mac). If you're writing in a markdown format, remove the asterisks or underscores that indicate bold formatting.
The shortcut key to unbold text in most applications, including Microsoft Word and Google Docs, is usually Ctrl + B (Windows) or Command + B (Mac). If the text is already bold, using this shortcut again will remove the bold formatting.
you put stars before and after the words.... like this...... *hello* and then it would be bold! good luck!
The Blackberry Bold 9930 does feature a QWERTY keyboard. The QWERTY keyboard on this Blackberry is said to be very nice and user friendly. You get the benefits of the full keyboard but it also has a touch screen. So, you get the best of both worlds.
There are different possibilities. You could use a Style to do it. You could also individually select each row you want to bold and apply the bold setting to it. You could do it using a macro.
definatley.. bold. (:
To make possessive nouns bold, you first write the noun in its possessive form by adding an apostrophe and an "s" (e.g., "the dog's bone"). Then, to bold the text, you can use formatting options depending on the platform: for example, in Markdown, you would use double asterisks or double underscores (e.g., dog's or dog's). In word processors, you can typically highlight the text and press the bold button or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+B or Command+B).
