When a chart is active or selected, in the menu or on the ribbon, you can choose one of the other types of charts and convert it to that type. Not all charts are compatible with each other, as some need certain combinations of data or a set amount of series, so the charts won't always change as expected.
Go to options and then fonts and styles. There one will see all the options and can easily change from Style to Style 42. That is the easiest way to alternate styles on Excel.

To change the chart style to style 42, first select the chart you want to modify. In the chart tools or formatting options, look for the "Chart Styles" or "Design" tab. From there, locate the style options and select style 42 from the available choices. Your chart will now update to reflect the new style.
If you do not like how the dates are formatted, then change the date format of the cell to whatever style you would like to display.
