How do you clean the other storage on a Macbook Air There is about 40GB out of the total 60GB filled with the other space?
The only way to make space is to throw any unused software or files in the trash can.
Just look in the Application folder and see if there are applications you no longer use.
You can either buy a 3rd party application or find a free one to look into your computer for unused or old software files to delete also.
Be aware tho of what your doing as you don't want to throw out any needed files the OS needs to work.
You can use an external USB/Thunderbolt HD and fill that one up instead and just use your internal one for just the operating system.
