Turn off your computer (so you won't hurt anything). Then, run your rag over keyboard. Use rag to get in between cracks. You can also use Clorox bleach clothes to keep your keys and mouse clean and disinfected.

Turn the Keyboard over and support it at an angle and pond on the back side. You will be amazed at what comes out.

Department stores such as Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and K-Mart, sell air cans. They have a thin straw that you can attach to the nozzle to get out any dust that you may have in your keyboard. The can looks like an aerosol can.

• For a quick clean, dump out the debris from under the keys and spray compressed air into the keyboard. Compressed gas ("canned air") works well. You can get it at office supply stores.
• For a more thorough clean, remove your keys and use cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol to remove dust from below all the keys.
• Put it in the dishwasher. Do not use the 'heat' setting. When the cycle is complete, take the keyboard out and stand on edge for 2-3 days. I like to put mine on a table, under a ceiling fan. Usually dry in 2 days.
• Baby wipes are another way to quickly and easily clean your keyboard. Don't press too hard.
