First locate the front panel connector pins. This is usually a 2x5 array of pins.
The pins are often colour coded in pairs, however pin 1 or pin 2 should be clearly indicated. If you orient the board such that pin 1 is in the lower left, pin 2 will be directly above it. Thus from left to right, the lower row has pins 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, with pins 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 directly above. Note that pin 10 will be missing as this is the key. If you look at the plug, you will find one of the pin holes is plugged up -- this aligns with the missing pin 10, so you can't get it the wrong way around.
If the connections are all separated (rather than a single plug), use the following to determine what goes where:
Pins 1 and 3 are the hard drive activity LED pins (coloured red).
Pins 2 and 4 are the power LED pins (coloured orange).
Pins 5 and 7 are the reset switch (if you have one) pins (coloured blue).
Pins 6 and 8 are the power switch pins (coloured green).
Pin 9 is the +5V power (coloured yellow).

Most computer manufacturers do not follow a standard when it comes to front panel connector wire colors. The best place to locate such information is on the system's documentation. If you are building the computer on your own, the literature that came with the computer case might have what you are looking for. Many computer case manufacturers label the front panel connector cables individually so you can tell which wire is which. The motherboard manual will also show you exactly where to connect the front panel connector cables.
Connect the front panel molex's to every available connector (3-pin molex connector) Or get a new one. I am experiencing the same now.
Yes, you can operate a PC without a front panel, though it is best not to do so.
The front panel generally consists of drive bays (for optical drives DVD, Bluray etc) power switches, usb sockets, headphone and microphone sockets, and sometimes a card reader.
It would depend on the make and model
Front panel connectors are for easy access and they are located on either front or side line of cabinet. All these connectors are connected to a location on motherboard. There are option to connect multiple pins (Led ,HDD,Power,Reset,USB ,Audio, etc ) some also give a blue connector to have a USB 3.0 on front. All these can be located in device manager .
On a 1994 Ford Explorer, the computer module is behind the kick panel on the passenger front side.
If you are sitting in the pass front seat remove the panel to the right of your feet. The computer is under the panel as far forward as you can reach.

You have to connect it to your computer and wait for it to show up and the devices panel.
