Prefix 'kilo' is used to denote multiples of liter and uses factor 103 or 1000.

To convert kiloliters to liters, value of liter has to be multiplied by factor used with prefix 'kilo'. For example, 1 kiloliter = 1 * 103 = 1 * 1000 = 1000 liters
