How do you convince your parents to buy you a MacBook?

i will tell my way and i am not sure that it will work for you.first make them understand the importance of PC especially laptops.better say about assignments,projects etc.but make sure of a convincing lie for example looking in the desktop for writing assignments is very difficult and a laptop will do best.try to score marks and fulfill your parents ambitions and expectations for at least a week.write me back soon

That dosen't work! Heres the way to go(only if the problem is you want to download things but your parents say no.). First you figure out how to create a website that will earn money for you. Then tell your parents that if they get you a laptop you will earn money for them. then tell them things like ''awww I wish I could make a website to earn some extra cash'' To your friends and things like pets around them. You could also say ''I have a designe for a website that would be uber(super)cool and would earn lots of money.'' Sooner or later your parents will give in.

Try waiting till your birthday or Christmas.

You should try telling them that you will do better in shcool. Make sure there convinced about that, meaning you really got to work hard for it. And if it doesnt work, and you wan't a Macbook really badly, tell them it will cover your birthday gift too. - Lalush

Ease into the subject. Either that or bother them about. Give reasons why you need the laptop. Do some negotiating. Oh, don't forget that your parents might just not have the money, and bothering them about it would be worse. Act with the three c's and the m calm collected compromising and mature.

You just simply ask very politley. When they ask you what you want for Christmas... if you celebrate it, tell them what you want. Or maybe you can ask them for it when it's your birthday. If you still haven't got it... wait until you get the money of your own to buy it!

Try pestering them about a little bit too. Don't lie or be cheeky though. email them these reasons:

1. I will look after it.

2. I will always keep it inside my laptop case when I'm not using it.

3. I will show you all the sites I have used on it.

Research the Macbook Pro and show them how the Macbook Pro is a superior computer to any Windows laptop which I firmly believe it is. The Apple computer is built of better quality components, has almost all the software you will need preinstalled, does not require you to install security software, is faster, will hold it's value, and on and on the list of reasons goes. Do your own research.
