You do it in the same way as in the same sheet. Select the cells that you want to copy. Then copy them in your preferred method, like by clicking on the copy icon on the Standard toolbar or using the Edit menu. Then go to the other sheet and put the cursor where you want the first cell of what you have copied to appear. Then paste it in your preferred method, like with the paste icon, the Edit menu or pressing Ctrl and V.
