How do you create a screen shot on a Mac?

There is no print-screen button on a mac (like windows) if you push cmd-shift-4, your mouse turns into a camera and you can choose what you want to photograph.

if you press space bar after cmd-shift-4 you can print screen the window.

everything will be saved on your desktop

To capture the whole screen press the Command (cmd) key, the shift key and the 3 key together.

To capture part of the screen press the Command key, the shift key and the 4 key together which will change the pointer to cross hairs that you click and drag over the section you want to capture.
