How do you create login and registration forms using PHP and MySQL?

A very simple form

1. Create a registration form
2. Add client side validation onsubmit event
3. Add database connection, create new database & table with columns
4. Add server side validation for the data which is sent by client to server
5. Add insert statements to insert form data to mysql (make sure to apply encryption to password)
6. On success, redirect to login form
7. Use the where clause to find if username & password from login form exists in database
8. If successful redirect to main page else notify user
9. Add username to session variables
