Well, this is little bit tricky.
If you want just text and nothing else, then you select the text. Press CTRL+C and copy it into notepad. This ensures that you get rid of all of the around formats and balast and you are left only with the text.
If you want the whole page with graphics etc. then it is better to save it as a whole. You can do it in your browser, just pick File - Save Page As
You can highlight and ctrl+c to copy any letter you see on a webpage the ctrl+v to paste it
ctrl plus r reloads a webpage.
