How do you delete a widget from your MacBook?

In Mac OS X 10.4, click the Dashboard icon to launch Dashboard, then click the circle icon with the + symbol in the lower left of the screen to see the widget bar. You will notice that there are now circle icons with x in them on the top left corners of the displayed widgets. To remove a widget from view, simply click that x icon. Alternatively, you can click the manage widgets... button to disable existing or download new widgets.

To disable the widgets on the Mac's Dashboard: Press F4 to enter the Dashboard Click on the Plus (+) sign in the bottom left corner You can now manage your widgets. Click on the cross in the top left corner of the widget to disable it.

you click the little plus on the bottem left corner, then there should be xs on every widgets top left corner, then click the x of the widget you want to delete
