Check security setting for wireless network in your router settings. Some routers allow to see the key, some mask it with asterisks. If your router masks the key (in router settings), you have to put a new key, if you want to connect more computers.
I need to find my password to connect my router to the internet? Where can I get it?
You should have the router software in your computer. Go into the router software and try to find out your router password that way. If it isn't there, try looking for something that you wrote the password on (a piece of paper, etc.). If you still cannot find the password, you are out of luck in trying to figure out the password.
Yes, it is possible to find the Wi-Fi password on a computer. (Note: Only do this if it is YOUR computer, and are not trying to hack into somebody else's Wi-Fi router). There should be software for the router on your computer, and in that router software that you installed somewhere in there should be your Wi-Fi password (every software is different, so it is hard to say exactly where it is).
If you are talking about the password, you have to access the software your router came with by inserting the router set-up CD into the computer. To find out the password, you have to use a password to access the router password. Other than that, there is no way to know the password for your router.
Simply Connect the router once again through Ethernet and remove the password ( as it will not ask the password to remove the existing...create it again..
You may have to enter a password or WEP Key. You can find this on a card that came with the router. Or on the back of the router.
How do I find the security password for my wireless E-1000 cisco router??? How do i find the password for my liksys router???
There is no specific password to get on the internet. What you are trying to use is a locked Wi-Fi router that needs a WEP key, only available to the owner of that router. You must find an unlocked router to access the internet without a password.
It might be a default password which you can find in the manual for the router. If the router is not your you have to ask the router owner.
it should be in brackets in the back of the router
If you haven't changed the password for your Linksys router, it is admin. If you have changed the password, then I see no other way to reset the router and configure the router from the beginning.
Nowhere in the handbook does it mention the password to your Wi-Fi router. Your password is individually created. You have to find out your router password through your software that you set up the router with.
