Yes, it only affects your computer. Once you refresh or leave the page, it goes back to normal. If someone else views the page with their computer, they will not be able to see what you are doing.
To refresh, you have to push F5 on your keyboard. It will take you back to the log-in page.
In most applications F5 is the refresh key.
Right-click then Refresh or go to web address and click on arrow to Refresh or at top of page go to Edit then Refresh or go back one page then forward again.
you cant in the main part when you are looking at your profile, but you can refresh pictures by clicking on them and you can refresh your newsfeed

When you refresh a page you are checking to see whether new updates have been made to that page. If you are using a PC, you can simply refresh by pressing CTRL and R together.
