Turn the mouse off by flipping the on/off slider on the bottom of the mouse to the off position. Replace the batteries, turn the on/off slider to the on position and set it down in front of you iMac. Wait for it to connect. If for some reason it does not want to connect, force quit your Mac by holding the power button down. Turn your Mac back on and it will connect. If not, there is something wrong with the mouse. Of course you must have bluetooth turned on and it must be discoverable.
