How do you get my printer to type larger?

You can print larger print on a printer by increasing the font option of your document. The size is expressed in points. If you just want a larger print document, but want to keep the original file as standard text size, change the point size of the whole document to a larger point size, then print it without saving. You'll retain your original document, but end up with a large-print copy.

Normally the font size is set when the document is being created, and before the document is sent to the printer. If it is possible to alter font size with in your printer - then go to the maker's website for instructions, or look through the user guide. It would have helped to give a specific answer if you had given the name and model of your printer, etc!

The printer can only produce what it's told to by they computer. If you need the print to be larger - you'll have to increase the point size within the document you're working on.
