To get the WoW launcher to work through a work network, you may need to adjust your firewall and proxy settings. First, ensure that the necessary ports for Blizzard services (such as 1119, 3724, and 6112) are open. If your workplace uses a proxy, configure the launcher to connect through it by entering the proxy settings in the launcher options. Additionally, consider speaking with your IT department, as they may have specific policies that could affect connectivity.
You either have to delete it, and re-download it through the WoW Launcher. or run the World of Warcraft Repair Tool.
Use the wow-launcher? It auto-patches the game and it starts automatically.
In your Start Menu and on your desktop.
First, try the repair utility that comes with WoW. If that don't work, try re-installing it all together. Or you can just by-pass the launcher all together and start wow directly by clicking on the wow.exe file in your wow program folder (not sure the program name or location for mac users, sorry).
The Blizzard launcher must be in the same folder as the wow.exe program. If it is not, then the game won't play. Some antivirus programs have a history of quarantining certain wow programs as virus files, making the game not work. You might want to try the wow support forums for more information.
