There is a reason why this isn't allowed. The company could be held liable for copyright infringement laws if they allowed 'pirated software' to be installed on company owned machines. Corporations have site licenses certain software applications.
You could submit your request in writing to the IT people - best guess is that they will deny your request.
or you could try to get it in .zip (compressed folder) i have done this many times it works great.
What his person is trying to say is... they completely avoided the question and offered no solution. Well... to answer your question... there are many ways too install programs on a computer without admin. You can make files zip by right clicking and "save link as" when you do that you can put ".zip" at the end of it so you can unzip the program. You can also use another operating system to be able to install programs. You can also restart the computer, keep hitting F8 until you see a screenw ith a bunch of different options... now select "safe mode" and login... you can create an account via: control panel> users or user accounts. there you can create a user and alter user settings. However there are some systems that have a very good control over what is done to the computers. for a strong system i would suggest a Linux boot drive (preferably usb). Hope this helped in your big adventures :P
You can't. You need to pay for the software rights to use it. Sorry.
That's a contradiction. You can't "give administrator rights but not give administrator rights."
No.
Well first off we need to know what software but usually it is just because you do not have the administration rights to install software on your computer!
Some software, settings and files requires administrator rights to be accessed or edited.

A proprietary software license agreement allows you to purchase software without receiving full rights to the program.
Administrator
ACDSee may run as an administrator to ensure it has the necessary permissions to access and modify files, especially when handling images stored in protected directories or performing tasks that require elevated privileges. Running with administrator rights can also enhance the software's functionality, allowing it to utilize system resources more effectively and interact with other applications or hardware components without restrictions. This behavior can be configured in the software settings or operating system properties if desired.
Administrator has more rights; Power users account can read from and write to parts of the system other than their own local drive, install applications and perform limited administrative tasks.Administrator account can install and uninstall devices and applications and can perform all administrative tasks. When windows 2000/XP is first installed one user account is created in this group and the account is called the Administrator
