If you are using Windows Movie Maker for the presentation, set your 'end marker' to the five minute point in the Time-line view of the program. This will set a guideline for you to ensure the project runs no longer than the allotted time.
To achieve this manually, import all the media you wish to use in the project. In the time-line view, drag the media backwards (to the left) along the time-line to make sure the imports are displayed before the five-minute interval.
