The NTFS format is owned and controlled by Microsoft and so is not available as a standard format with the Mac's Disk Utility. There are options such as Paragon's NTFS for Mac OS X but normally this would be used on a secondary external drive rather than reformat the MacBook's hard disc.

to format the hard disk go to My computer perform right click go to manage will open the window computer Management->storage->Disk Management(local) select the disk drive right click and once again click onto the format button see to that the file system should be in NTFS format

If you've format your hdd using NTFS, then you need a windows 98 bootdisk to startup, run fdisk.exe and choose Y to treat NTFS as large disk. delete the NTFS partition and recreate the FAT32 partition. Then restart, format the HDD and install Win98.

Windows 2000 and XP computers utility for formatting only supports 32GB formatting for fat32. However, FAT32 allows up to 2TB of space to be formatted from ntfs. So most likely your using XP. Search Google for "Disk Format Utilities" and you can find ones that will format your drive from ntfs to fat32 without losing space.
