How do you make the boxes bigger on Excel?

If you want to make the cells wider, highlight the column you are working with and right click. Then select "column width" and type in a higher number. You can repeat this until you get the correct size. If you want to make them higher, highlight a row, and follow a similar procedure, except click on "row height."

It depends what you mean by bigger. You could mean by changing the font size, which can be done by formatting or using the icons of the formatting toolbar. If you mean to increase the actual values by a set amount or proportion, there is a clever way of doing it with Paste Special. Suppose you want to add 100 to each of a set of values. First, type 100 into a blank cell. Then click on it and do a copy, in your chosen method, like using the menus or pressing Ctrl-C etc. Then select the cells you want to add the 100 to. Instead of doing a paste, which would replace all the cells with 100, do a Paste Special, which can be got from the Edit menu. In the lower half of the dialog box that comes up, under Operation, pick Add and then click OK. Each of the value will now have their values increased by 100. The same approach can be used to multiply the cells by fixed values or to subtract or divide.
