For a font to be available in applications you must have the font file in your system fonts folder. On a Mac running OSX the Library folder contains a font folder. The best option is to use a font management application like Suitcase or ATM. Software like this lets you activate and deactivate any font stored on your hard drive. It also eliminates the issue of too many fonts open (100's) which can slow down your computer.
Just add the fonts to your windows fonts folder,if they are compatible photoshop will automaticaly take it from the windows fonts folder.
hi i had hassles installing fonts too. I thought if I copied and pasted them into the fonts folder they would work, but it doesnt you actually have to install them. Go to Start menu > Setting > Control Panel > Fonts In the Fonts window Go to File > Install new font Locate font on your computer (if more than one select the ones you want) Press OK, they will install into your system and when you next open Photoshop you will see them there.
