The mouse wheel is the scroll wheel. Rather than press the arrows on the scroll bar on your screen, mash the wheel and a directional arrow will appear on the screen. you can control the direction and speed of scrolling with that set of arrows. If you prefer to just scroll down, spin the wheel while the cursor is on the page and the page will scroll up or down depending on how you spin that wheel.

File, NEW TAB If you click a link by pressing down on the scroll wheel on your mouse it will open a new tab, tabs appear below the bookmarks toolbar.
