this is the way i did it without hunting through different folders nd stuff which takes forever
sign into your msn, click on your hotmail symbol and when the page comes up with your emails, go to the top and click on photos and over at the side (left) your display picture will appear ( make sure the picture u want saved is ur display picture) click on your name and scroll down, it should say he/she has changed her display picture, right click your picture and pick save as then put in any folder you want and click save, then that should be it, go check your folder you saved your picture in to make sure it is there if it is then thts you done =)
