To register a file, type regsvr32 .dll. Or type regsvr32 \.dll, where is the path to the file, and is the name of the file.
It can't be run in DOS mode because it relies on Windows-specific APIs. DOS mode is running the program in either DOS, or in a DOS box under Windows. Basically, it is saying that it can't run on DOS because it is not a DOS program.
Start Windows in test mode (F8). Access MS-DOS symbol and go to directory "C:\WINNT\system32". Tipe "del kghdd.dll" and press enter. The dll-file will be deleted from your hard disk. Restart PC in normal mode and run anti virus for final check.
You can either use Hijackthis or unregister the .dll and reboot into dos only mode or something similar to remove the file. You have to install windows 98 using the OEM CD from Microsoft (or you can download it as a torrent file). If it is a DOS-window, then with command EXIT, or if you booted in DOS-mode, then use command WIN (or reboot your computer).
There is no DOS mode to get in to in Mac OS X and so there is nothing to get out of.
A DOS file, or .bat file can have unlimited characters.
