There is a simple registry tweak out there that allows you to hide the run option from the start menu. Click Start > Run (Assuming you still have run there) > And type in "regedit." Click "OK."

Now you are in your registry editor. Be careful, if you mess up in this serious program, you could prevent your computer from booting. Go to the following directory.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\

Now that you are there, right-click the big space on the right. Click New > DWORD Value. Name it NoRun. It IS Case-Sensitive. Make the value 1. You could already be done. If you still see your Run option in your Start Menu, Restart your computer.

Good Job! You removed your Run Option!
