To repair membrane buttons on a Yamaha DX7 keyboard, first, open the keyboard casing carefully to access the circuit board. Inspect the membrane for any visible damage or wear, and use a clean, soft cloth to wipe it down. If the contacts are dirty or oxidized, you can clean them with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. For more severe damage, consider replacing the entire membrane switch assembly with a compatible part.
