If you have an HP color LaserJet and need a new drum, you need to replace the drum for it to work properly. If you are tight on money, try comparing prices on the Internet for the best deal. A cartridge chip will not work.
The "REPLACE DRUM" error message on a Brother printer typically indicates that the drum unit needs to be replaced or reset. Follow these steps to resolve the issue: Check if the Drum Unit Needs Replacement Inspect the Drum Unit: Open the printer's front cover and remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly. Check for signs of wear, such as streaks or damage. Purchase a New Drum Unit: If the drum is worn out, you will need to buy a compatible replacement drum for your specific Brother printer model. Reset the Drum Counter (if you've replaced it) If you've already replaced the drum unit or are sure it's still functional, you may need to reset the drum counter. The process varies slightly depending on the printer model. General Steps for Resetting: Open the front cover of the printer. Press and hold the “OK” or “Go” button for 3-5 seconds (depending on your model) until the "Drum Unit" or "Reset Drum Counter" message appears. Press the “OK” button again to confirm. Close the front cover. Clean the Drum Unit If the drum is still usable but causing issues: Remove the drum unit and gently wipe it with a lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the drum's surface as it is sensitive to light and fingerprints. Read more,,t.ly/0mnVy
Beind brake drum to replace
Need to know what series (3100, 3200, 3600 etc) truck and front or rear drums. With that info I can help you.
Obviously ensure your handbrake is off with wheels chocked. My 1994 Mazda B2600i has two large Philip head screws in each drum, between the wheel studs. Unscrew these first, then tap the front and sides of the drum with a hammer to disloge the drum, ENSURING you do not chip the edge of the drum. If the drum still does not pull toward you, study the layout of the drum brake adjustment mechanism and try and adjust the brake shoes in via the port at the rear of the drum.
HEre is what I have found and it works. option 1.- Turn printer off, open the cartridge door. Turn power on. It will ask "new drum?" Press 1 for yes. It should reset. option 2.- You can also open the cartridge door with the machine on and press the blue right arrow button to get the "Replace Drum" prompt. Press 1 to reset the count. Gaston Rey
The Konica Minolta Di2510f has several error codes that indicate various issues. Common error codes include "C-0202," which signifies a misfeed in the paper transport, and "C-0301," indicating a fuser unit error. Additionally, "C-0010" may refer to a drum unit issue. For specific troubleshooting steps, it's best to consult the user manual or contact a service technician.
On the older style HP LaserJet toner cartridges, like the 1300, 2300 and similar that had the large style chips, you could reset them if you had the correct machine. But the new style chips, the tiny ones, you can't. Because of how fast HP is coming out with new toner cartridges and the different chip sets they are using, the industry has actually stopped trying to keep up with the rest technology but are now just making replacement chips that allow the printers to use the remanufactured or compatible cartridge. At best you can get the cartridge rechiped but that is about it.
It is the metal part around the outside of the drum that is around the drum head.
