In Photoshop go to File > Save for Web & Devices and choose JPEG for format then choose quality (Low, Medium, High, Very High), jpeg file format compress image data, different qualities results with different file size.
it is 150xa50 pixels.
1 MB is 1024 KB, 10X1024=10240
A floppy disk is about 5 MB big, so 5120 KB will fit on a floppy disk.
Yes. Here is the table of B, kB, mB, gB and tB... 1,000 B's fit into 1 kB. 1,000 kB's fit into 1 mB. 1,000 mB's fit into 1 gB. and last but not least, 1,000 gB's fit into 1 tB.
The number of pictures that can fit in 959 MB depends on the size and resolution of each image. For example, if an average photo is around 2 MB, you could store approximately 479 photos. If the images are smaller, say 500 KB each, you could fit around 1,918 images. Conversely, larger images at 5 MB would result in about 191 photos.
there is a thousand or so kb in a megabyte so around 952,000
The difference in file size between kilobytes (KB) and megabytes (MB) when storing photos is that 1 megabyte (MB) is equal to 1,000 kilobytes (KB). This means that a photo stored in kilobytes will be smaller in size compared to the same photo stored in megabytes.
1000 KB = 1 MB May seem like alot, but really it isnt. The MB can fit the KB 100 thousand times into itself until it is about equal.
You can, if this photo is saved in GIF for example (or any other format that does not use any variable compression). In this case simply reduce the output image size until you get the 200kb. If you save it into JPEG you have to reduce the size so that with average JPEG it is a little bit lower than 200kb, than slowly increase the quality of the JPEG until you reach 200kb. It is hard and there is no quarantee that you will land exactly on 200kb. It may be few kB more or less. Try using AZImage - see reference. It is a simple to use tool that provides also the advanced features you need. To have a quick preview search on youtube.com after "resize azimage".
To resize a photo to be 5 KB, you can use an image editing tool or software such as Photoshop, GIMP, or an online compressor. Start by reducing the dimensions of the image (e.g., width and height) and then adjust the image quality during the export process. Save the image in a format that allows for compression, such as JPEG or PNG, and check the file size before finalizing. If it’s still too large, continue adjusting the quality or dimensions until you reach the desired size.
The Sanyo VPC-5180 is a little bit too large for the Kata Micro KB mini belt bag.
The photos can be shrinked by Microsoft Photo Editor. Microsoft Editor-Edit Picture-Compress. Select the option and you're done
