Resetting, or powerwashing a Chromebook is fairly simple. Keep in mind that any files or data stored in the Chromebook itself will be deleted. Head to the status area on the lower right corner, and click where your account avatar displays. Once in, go to Settings, then to Show advanced settings. Look for the Powerwash section and click Reset. After that, select Restart.
To download a file from a Chromebook to a flash drive, first, insert the flash drive into a USB port on the Chromebook. Open the Files app, locate the file you want to download, and right-click (or tap with two fingers) on it. Select "Copy" or "Move," then navigate to the flash drive in the Files app, right-click again, and choose "Paste" to transfer the file. Ensure the file has been successfully copied by checking the flash drive.
