Seems like an issue for you here. Well, dealing with these type of viruses it could get troublesome even for norton. The best solution that usually works is if you start up your computer in safemode first. To do that you press the f8 key during the startup of windows and select "safe mode w. networking". There it should start up the computer without activating the virus. From there you could run norton and tell it to do a scan and remove the virus. Usually this situation happens being the virus registers itself in the startup list so when the computer starts up the virus starts up also. Doing this method will allow you to clean it out before anything happens. A second note to that you can also go to (in safe mode) start->run-> type in msconfig.exe then a box will pop up. click start up and uncheck any type of unknown things. Most likely the virus isnt named or has a clash of letters and numbers as a name.
Hope this helps!

If you're unable to download files while using Norton 360, it may be due to the software's security settings, which can block certain downloads to protect against malware. Additionally, if Norton detects a potential threat in the file, it might prevent the download altogether. You can check the settings or temporarily disable the download protection feature, but be cautious and ensure the source is safe before proceeding. Always make sure your Norton 360 is up to date, as updates can resolve compatibility issues.
You should not have to download the old versions of the IOS before downloading the IOS 8. You might have to call the company and ask what to do.
Try downloading a free one. With all the threats out there today, you should DEFINETLY have at least something. Make sure the site is legit before you download it first though. You can use Mcafee's siteadvisor or Norton's safesearch.
